The insanity workout is a guaranteed way to kick‐start your fitness goals. This is a similar routine to High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), where you will find yourself accomplishing, on average, 90 seconds of high-intensity exercise followed by about 30 seconds of rest. This is a workout that requires no gym membership and no equipment. Bodyweight exercises are the core of this workout, but beginners beware! It might be a little taxing if it’s your first step into exercise and fitness. Before you give it a try, let’s check the insanity fit test review.
Insanity Fit Test Review
To make sure this workout suits you, you will be given one minute to complete the maximum number of reps for eight different exercises. If you find it too difficult to complete, then you might want to take some time to practice and build up the strength and endurance before attempting the insanity workout.
The exercises are:
- Switch Kicks Day
- Power Jacks
- Power Knees
- Power Jumps
- Globe Jumps
- Suicide Jumps
- Push Up Jacks
- Low Plank Oblique
If you managed to complete a minute of each of these exercises then you are ready to go. Try not resting for more than 60 seconds between each exercise.

Tips For Insanity Workout
- Good nutrition is imperative for excellent results. The insanity workout is taxing on the body and will require adequate nutrients.
- Stretching before and after your workouts. A 5-minute stretch will make a difference in preventing injuries and keeping your flexibility on point during your 2-month workout.
- Wear the proper footwear. There’s going to be a lot of jumping here, good shoes will provide cushioning and protection for your joints.
- Learn proper form! It’s not enough to have stamina if you’re performing the exercises in a bad posture/form. Practicing proper form even if it means pacing yourself for the first week. In case you are working out along with the DVD, it’s okay
if you can’t keep up with the people on it, you can pause it for a few more seconds to catch your breath.
