What is Suspension Training?
Suspension training was born in the Navy Seals by Randy Hetrick (Stanford MBA graduate) as a form of bodyweight exercising that develops flexibility, strength, balance, and core stability all at the same time.
A suspension trainer uses a system of ropes and webbing to allow the athlete to use their own body weight to perform effective exercises. It’s similar to your home exercise bands, but more complex and uses more of your body weight. It fits nicely with a home workout regime that might include indoor cycling or other cardio related exercises that aren’t strenuous on your joints.
